Sadržaj

Biokemijski sastav kosti. Sinteza i razgradnja komponenata izvanstaničnog matriksa. Enzimi u regulaciji metabolizma koštanog tkiva. Hormonska regulacija koštanog metabolizma. Homeostaza kalcija. Čimbenici rasta i citokini. Utjecaj koštane moždine na metabolizam kosti. Klinički i analitički aspekti mjerenja koštanih biljega. Prokolagen-peptidi, osteokalcin, telopeptidi, piridinolin, deoksipiridinolin. Utjecaj koštanog matriksa i demineraliziranog koštanog matriksa na osteogenezu. Koštani morfogenetski proteini i hrskavični morfogenetski proteini - otkriće i klasifikacija. Koštani morfogenetski proteini kao regulatori morfogenetskih zbivanja tijekom embriogeneze. Utjecaj koštanih morfogenetskih proteina na proces enhondralne osifikacije, regeneracije skeleta i mogućnost regeneracije zglobne hrskavice. Koštani morfogenetski proteini i njihovo značenje u nastanku, dijagnostici i mogućem liječenju koštanih metaboličkih bolesti. Eksperimentalna i klinička iskustva u primjeni koštanih morfogenetskih proteina u regeneraciji skeleta (kost, hrskavica) i u koštanih metaboličkih bolesti. Dijagnostički i prognostički biokemijski pokazatelji osteoporoze te metaboličkih bolesti koštanog sustava. Klinička primjena koštanih morfogenetskih proteina u ortopediji - sadašnjost i budućnost.
